2009年美国物理学会会士增选揭晓
18位华人科学家入选
【科学网综合报道】近日，2009年美国物理学会会士（APS Fellow）增选揭晓。
美国物理学会〔American Physical Society，APS〕成立于1899年，是世界第二大物理学组织，是一个非牟利科教组织，致力通过学术刊物、会议及推广活动，探究并弘扬物理学，在全球约有四万多会员。
美国物理学会每年增选新会士，人数不超过其会员人数的千分之五。因其严格的遴选程序，其会士称号被视为物理学界的较高荣誉。
在2009年新当选的219位会士中，有18位华人科学家，他们是：
