Ladd提出的基于有限体积方法的LBM,颗粒的动力学半径比名义半径大一个delta,这个值应该怎么求?求大神赐教,文献中有一点讲解,看不太懂...

The idea of an "effective radius" is that in Ladd's approach, one does NOT know the exact location of no-slip boundary. However, this problem has be solved by using the MRT-LBE, in which the location of the no-slip boundary conditions is FIXED and KNOWN, thus there is no need to do the calibration.

We have discuss this particular issue in the following paper:

L.-S. Luo, W. Liao, X. Chen, Y. Peng, and W. Zhang.
Numerics of the lattice Boltzmann method: Effects of collision models on the lattice Boltzmann simulations.
Physical Review E 83(5):056710 (May 2011).

The above paper deals with simple, straight boundaries parallel to lattice lines. For curved boundaries
(e.g., a sphere), the following paper address the issue:

C. Pan, L.-S. Luo, and C.T. Miller.
An evaluation of lattice Boltzmann schemes for porous medium flow simulation.
Computers & Fluids 35(8/9):898-909 (September, 2006).
