I think I did not misunderstand your point. However, we may have a disagreement the following question: whether SC model is the same or really different from other FD model. My conclusion is that it is more or less the same, the difference is in the error terms. The FD operators are implied in the advection (i.e., stencils) and the way the force is computed. In fact, the force is computed with an explicit FD scheme. So, if we look carefully at the substance, I have to conclude that the SC model is indeed a FD scheme. Furthermore, the free-energy is also more or less the same -- if those guys know how to be careful -- because they also compute the force with FD. The difference in these models are insubstantial, but of implementation.

Perhaps this disagreement (or argument) is entire futile.

S-C当然是FD格式,我前面说的是,我的看法,是S-C用一个interaction force实现了好些梯度项,而这些类似梯度项无论是在其他多相LBM模型还是传统算法中,基本上都是一个一个直接梯度算子离散。

所以我说的一直都是S-C这个特色,我从来没说S-C不是FD,LBM本身就是FD,S-C的interaction force也是FD。

所以我们本没有任何需要argument的地方。我赞赏的是S-C用一个interaction force实现了好些梯度项的独特特点,这个在其他LB模型和其他方法中并没有见到。

这点就不能用is more or less the same来形容。人家用一个interaction force解决,其他的都是一个一个去离散,这能一样?这是层次档次的差别。S-C这种思维明显高其他一个层次,何况这种思维还是20年前出现的。您的implementation一词也许是合适,简单地说可以说是实施手段的不同,高雅地说,可以说是“方法论”的不同,处理问题的方法不同。

All right, I apologize for perhaps the misunderstanding. However, there are other "interaction force" type of model, only realizable for athermal or isothermal fluids.
