Dear Authors (and Potential Authors),
        I would like to thank those of you who have participated in the Recuperator Sessions that have been held as part of Turbo Expo in the past.  Dave Stinton has stepped down as organizer of these sessions and I have volunteered to organize the sessions that will be part of the Turbo Expo meeting to be held in Montreal, Canada May 14-17, 2007.  The sessions for Turbo Expo 2007 will be "Heat exchangers (recuperators, regenerators) and associated materials", sponsored by the Microturbine & Small Turbomachinery Committee (possibly jointly sponsored by the Heat Transfer Committee).  
I would like to invite papers about the design (CFD, heat transfer, stress analysis, etc.), development & testing, manufacturing, or materials associated with recuperators and regenerators for potential or current use with microturbines.  I would also like to invite papers about the design, development & testing, manufacturing, or materials associated with heat exchangers used with microturbines for exhaust heat recovery (CHP) applications.
Abstracts for the 2007 Turbo Expo are due by August 21st, 2006 (5 weeks from today), and must be submitted online (plain text, 400 word limit).  We would love for you to be able to participate in next year';s meeting and invite you to submit an Abstract thru the following website:

The publication schedule for the 2007 Turbo Expo is as follows:
        Abstracts Due                              August 21, 2006         (Absolute Deadlines)
        Full-length Draft Papers Due        October 16, 2006  
         Copyright Form Due                    January 14, 2007  
        Final Papers Due                          January 29, 2007  
         
        Please note that ASME insists that these are Absolute Deadlines - if your Abstract is not in the system by August 21st, you will not be participating.  If you know someone that might like to participate in these sessions, please  forward this message to them.  If you need additional information, please feel free to give me a call.
