小女子请教cfd基础问题
If you do not know how to choose a mesh, try to create a few meshes with different
element sizes. Run your solver on these meshes to see if you get close solutions.
If the differences of these solutions on some of your meshes are small enough
in your accepted error range, these meshes are OK for your application. You may
know you need different fine meshes in different applications. Most people do not
choose meshes this way. They do it according to their experienece. Finer a mesh
is, slower your solver will be. If a mesh is too fine, numerical error may be accumulated and in the end you may get junk.
